So friendly and patient! I had an issue with my iCloud that I tired trouble shooting multiple times. Even though I researched it for a bit none of the solutions online worked. They were able to help me right away. I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes. Very pleasant and so helpful!

If you have an issue with an Apple device just go to the apple store. If you have an issue and you're a woman- go somewhere else.
After paying $80 for a diagnostic service that would be applied to any service that needed to take place Mikey's hookup provided a quote for a service that wasn't needed. Not only did they say it would cost over $1300 to repair, once I took it to the genius bar for a second opinion Apple said that repair shouldn't cost more than $500. Mikey's hookup also said my computer wouldn't charge, though it did.
Wound up just selling my computer in question back to Apple, which they said they wouldn't be able to take back if it wasn't charging. In the end, it was at a full charge and I had $250 back from Apple. That, plus a student discount was put towards a brand new computer at a lower cost than what Mikey's hookup quoted me for a service I didn't need.
I contacted Mikey's hookup to let them know their prices were predatory. Now I'm in a dispute with my credit card company trying to get $80 back since it appears this company wasn't planning to help me at all and instead take advantage of me.

Edit after response from Mikey's Hookup: Hey, that's ok and thank you! Perhaps you missed the part where I was given a quote for a service I didn't need and told my computer wouldn't charge when it in fact would. I went ahead and put it on here for you to read again. Your response doesn't change your taking advantage of a situation.

Shout out to Mike and the homies, fr! I’ve spilled water on my MacBook Pro and they had my laptop back to me in less than a week. They’re very chill and I would 100% come here over the Apple Store, it’s honestly faster and you’re supporting a local Silverlake business. Just dropped off my Apple monitor and was able to get in and out in like 5 minutes. Also they let me drop off my monitor like 2 hours before my appointment. TY!

I woke up and my phone had decided to turn into a brick overnight and I tried a hard reset and nothing worked. So I went on the apple site and Mikey’s hook up came up as an authorized dealer.

I think Mikey was working as well as one other guy who was the one that helped me. He was so friendly and was able to fix the issue on the phone. He even let me stay and let the cloud upload the important items on their Wi-Fi.

Will definitely come back if I need anything computer/record/tech related.

Also recommend going here vs. the Apple Store as I find the Mikey’s more helpful and less of a zoo than the Apple Store.

Just bought speakers from here. Found the service to be good, didn’t feel pressured into buying anything. Not knowing anything at all about sound equipment I wanted to see it, and hear it from myself and ask a few questions and this place did not disappoint.

IDK how Mikey's does it. It's such a small place and yet they seemingly have every small audio related item known to man. Typically before I call them I say to myself "ok, this is going to be the time I stump them" and sure enough they always have 4 or 5 of that item lying around lmao. Offically Goated, y'all are the best.

Easiest and best experience! I made an appointment here instead of the Apple store for help with my Macbook and I’m so glad I did. They were so nice and helpful, and I avoided all of the craziness that Apple store always has going on. Can’t recommend them enough!
