I went there last weekend to sell some items. I was shown two items that they were willing to take for 15 dollars. The rest was denied. They say that they take high end clothes yet I was told that Windsor, a pricey formal clothes store, wasn't a part of that. I understood that going in they were going to be picky and was content with at least selling two items. As I transferred the denied clothes into a bag to take to goodwill I noticed then that two of my expensive Windsor items were not in my basket. Better off making some part of what I originally paid for if I had sold it online.

Terrible customer service, every single time. Can never get a smile or even a hello. There’s been multiple times I’ve walked up to the front desk, with 3-4 girls working behind it, and no one can ever help or even make eye contact. Including the manager. Seems like you’re doing them a disservice by shopping/selling there. Not to mention the extreme rip off of prices for selling. I know the employees don’t make the prices so I
have never left a review however, my last experience here was awful. I dropped a bin off and decided to stay and shop in the meantime to pass time. They literally went through my bin, shaming almost everything in it while I’m literally standing there listening to it all. Very unprofessional.

This place is crooked. A had a pair of Jordan fours that were barely worn with the receipt of $250 that I paid for brand new and I had $3 pairs of Nikes. Two of them were Air Max that were barely worn + pretty much I would say the Air Max were brand new and a Carhartt bag was brand new and I was offered $44 not $44 for each pair of shoes or even $30 each pair of shoes. How would it even gone as maybe 25 a pair but $44 and I needed the gas. If I could leave no stars I would

The front staff have always been SO rude time in and time out. And time after time I don’t complain on the stuff they don’t take. But now I said I’d wait for my things because I had THREE THINGS. The wait said 5-10 minutes then went up to 10-20 minutes. I waited 45 minutes for them to check 3 things. I then asked about it and one of the girls said she needed to finish sorting these clothes before they addressed my things. Turns out my stuff was ready the whole time but she didn’t see it when I asked when I saw it ready. Bought a dress w a bunch of stains but hey at least it was cheaper. Then all my stuff gets passed for stains I don’t even see. I’d rather drive down to Brookfield to go to the other plato’s

Total ripoff! I shouldnt really be that surprised bc the girl i worked with had an oversized hunting shirt on. She's obviously clueless. They wanted to pay me 6 bucks for a brand new pair of gray fur lined 2024 UGGs. Get out of town!

Given all these recent bad reviews, I felt it is needed to write my own experience. This is my first time selling my clothes and given the reviews I was expecting a really bad experience. However, the girls working on Saturday June 8, 2024 were very kind and helpful. I think it’s reasonable to have low expectations for the cash you will make but that is a given for any consignment store. A few dollars here is better than getting nothing. I would say to try out this location when selling but be realistic with your expectations. I sold 10/12 items I brought in and would continue selling to them.

The employees are all incredibly rude. Walked in to sell and immediately heard the employees making fun of customers. They were going through sellers bins and saying, “why would she even try to sell this”, “why would anyone think we’d want this” “this is so freaking ugly”, etc… On top of that when I came back to see if any of my stuff was taken the employee who talked to me was very rude. She was mumbling a bit and I couldn’t understand her so I asked her to repeat why my items weren’t taken and she rolled her eyes, sighs loudly, and then repeats herself.

First time selling, the owner who was sorting that day was extremely rude. Slamming bins and couldn’t even crack a smile or a hello to help sign in. I get it’s busier with back to school I work retail as well but I’m a little bummed that she’d behave in a way that would influence the rest of the staff to behave in as well. They are very very selective with what they take. They write that into your slip. Maybe also let people know what you’re looking for.
