We walked into this bright, cheerful cafe and was greeted by Amanda who was friendly. The art on walls are all available for sale by local artists which is an added bonus. We walked up to counter in a chill environment, noticed they were serving breakfast, coffee drinks, sandwiches and a full, well stocked bar. They had fresh baked goods which also looked tasty, maybe next time we’ll try. My husband ordered a beer and a Jamaican patty which was flaky and light, meat was tender w/ a tiny kick of spice and absolutely delicious. I had a glass of Cava along w/ the Havana sandwich which had mojo pulled pork that was juicy, fresh baked Cuban bread, perfect balance of mustard, pickles and ham. I wished they had a side of plantains for added crunch, it would’ve completed the meal. Potato chips were sitting alongside of the cash register for sale, which I didn’t want. The only reason why I didn’t give 5⭐ is because you must order at register, cash out each time you’d like to enjoy another cocktail despite having our server deliver the food. I never understand “fast/casual” establishments if servers are still delivering items, cleaning tables etc.. We will definitely go back for the other side for dinner.

Great breakfast sandwiches & pastries! Love the sunny space and decor. The sidewalk tables are great for people watching during the day and night. The baristas are so nice. 2 for 1 mimosas on Sundays! The spicy Jamaican patty and croissant sandwiches are a must! Occasional jazz music for brunch is a lovely time.

We dined in on a not so busy rainy night. We were seated immediately. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. The inside is small and nice. The restaurant is located in a popular area of St.Pete which has a lot of residents as well as walkable restaurants. The menu does have notations for what is gluten-free, I wanted the jerk chicken which was no issue. While the jerk chicken was a 5/5 on flavor and taste it was served with a side of coleslaw and they only had black beans. I thought it was kind of strange to serve jerked chicken with polenta slaw so I opted for some rice. I was also surprised they didn't have rice and peas. The black beans contained more water than actual beans and lacked flavor or depth. The woman who seated us waa very helpful. When she saw I was going to box them up she actually looked shocked and asked did they even give me beans or just a bunch of water? She took the beans and came back with another portion which was nice. My husband had the tacos trio and he said it was tasty, but admitted the jerked chicken had way more flavor and it was more protien. Anyhow, we did enjoy the restaurant and I would say definitely check it out. It's a pretty cute space qith great cocktails and decor. My only complaint is that it wasn't busy and we sat around waiting for a while to pay as well as to get to go boxes.

When we stepped in, Hasaan greeted us with an incredible smile and seated us by the window. He truly excelled in his role—offering exceptional recommendations for both food and drinks. His attentiveness, friendliness, and personable nature made a lasting impression. I couldn't help but feel captivated by himh; his infectious energy seemed to charm everyone, even a queen who lashed out at the bartender for no reason. Hasaan handled that situation with remarkable respect, showcasing his professionalism.

The food and drinks were beautifully plated, reminiscent of a food magazine, and the cocktails were equally enticing. The jerk chicken, served with rice and coleslaw, was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the shrimp tacos were simply delicious. We started with fresh chips and salsa, a personal favorite. The hookah was top-notch, and the entire staff provided outstanding service. Although most of the team was impressive, Hasaan truly stood out for the warm welcome and attentive care he provided us.

Came to Copa and had Sean as our mixologist the entire time. Let me tell you, this guy knows his craft. From start to finish, Sean was on point—great service, killer drinks, and plenty of solid recommendations. What really stood out was how much he cared about the experience. He didn’t rush us, didn’t act like our questions were a hassle, and explained everything with patience and skill.

The drinks? Next level. He made some stuff I’d never had before, and they were perfect. But honestly, it’s Sean’s service that’ll keep us coming back. He’s the kind of guy who makes a place worth visiting again and again. Copa, you’ve got a great asset in him. Keep it up, Sean.

We visited this place expecting tapas, as it’s listed as a tapas restaurant on Google. Unfortunately, the flavors were almost nonexistent. It’s more of a bar than a restaurant. We ordered tostones, tacos, and yuca croquettes. The croquettes were the highlight, but everything else lacked flavor.

Picture this: You walk into Copa, it's before 7:00, and Happy Hour is in full swing. The drinks are flowing faster than my regrets the next morning! I thought I was just stopping by for a casual sip, but then the *Steak Frites* hit my table and—BOOM—I’m in a committed relationship. Sorry Tinder, I’ve found my true love.

But wait, it gets better. The *maduros*? Oh, honey, they’re sweeter than that time I accidentally liked my crush’s photo from 2015. Soft, perfectly caramelized... I was ready to propose. And let’s not forget the *yuca croquetas*—crispy on the outside, fluffier than my dog on the inside. They’re the snack equivalent of a warm hug from your grandma (but without the unsolicited life advice).

Basically, if you're looking for a place where the food is life-changing and the Happy Hour feels like winning the lottery (minus the taxes), Copa is your new home. Just make sure to leave before you start crying over how much you love the steak.
