eyebprofen When I got to the train station I stage a flix that planned on editing along the ride. However that didn't happen. I was attacked. I defend myself and with out to many details was detained. The people on the trai included the staff spoke up for me. Phone calls was made and I was allowed back on the train. The point of the post tho was to say appreciate yall Amtrak. Life happens and making it home to my family all I wanna do. I'm new to riding the train this was only my second time. We shouldn't have had to meet that way. Anyway lll see yall Monday before new light. God over everythang. Safe travels to everyone. One Love.

Small efficient Amtrak station. Limited front desk hours; waiting area closes after the last train leaves. Not safe to leave your car parked at their parking lot overnight- just fyi.

Very clean station with a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Ample short- and long-term parking. One of the best-kept Amtrak stations in California. You may get a “Sweetums the Cat” sighting too when visiting the antique train on premises!

I have lived in Modesto for over 40 years. It's grown a lot. Lots of parks, many great restaurants, and plenty of places to shop. Housing prices are outrageous, but I think that's pretty normal for California, unfortunately. Still, it's a nice place to live and work. Central to the coast and mountains. Easy day trips to San Francisco or Yosemite.

A quick stop on the way to the bay area. If you are traveling through the central valley. The train might be a good option. Very few people traveling now during covid-19.

more people should be utilizing this station - it's great! parking overnight is also safe, i've done it multiple times, even outside of the protected/gated lot. we need to be trying to stay off the highways when we can.
