I'm really conflicted about this place. I read all the reviews before heading inside and they'd all been 'outdated' or at least two months old. I thought the store was cleaned up or more taken care of since then but I was wrong. I went here with my grandpa and we walked in to a store full of junk. The entrance was blocked by a trashcan and a cat. The owner was asleep and the back of the store was blocked when I tried to walk around the display. To give the owner credit, he works here alone without help, but the mess is more than anywhere near needed for one person. And, the cat. I walked in to the smell of cat piss, not like it was temporary, like it had been there for ages. I ended up leaving with one David Bowie record from the 80s or so. When I got back home, the records condition was worse then expected, the sound scratchy and scratches on the rows. I ultimately recommend going to one of the other record stores nearby..

Hadn't been to this store before, but despite the mixed reviews I stopped in with a friend of mine while we were in the area. While the place is a bit cluttered at the moment, we had a really pleasant experience here ! The selection was fantastic (found some gems in the CD section) and the owner made good conversation while we were in.

Most items are unlabeled, but do have reasonable starting prices (that move up or down depending on the item/quality) and he was willing to drop down several new, price tagged records my friend had been looking at.

I'll definitely be adding this location to my radar, it won't be a shop for everyone, but it's definitely a fantastic gem of one !

I can't say enough good things about this place! The owner went out of his way to help me find a special record I had been searching for. He's incredibly knowledgeable, truly passionate about music, and genuinely cares about his customers. If you're into vinyl and want some standout selections, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The best vinyl records shop in Sarasota. The owner knows and has it all. Even the rare records. Recommending to see the place if you are looking for special selections, old albums in great conditions. Prices between 20-40$ per record is great. I just bought three Micheal Jacksons plus ABBA and some good ol rap.

I’ve come here multiple times and every time the owner Anthony is so kind. He’s always willing to go above and beyond for his customers. He has a HUGE collection available to look through. This is by far the number one record store in Sarasota.

This shop is has an incredible selection of vinyl, and Tony seems to always know where everything you want is at! Saw some reviews mentioning a cat smell or having allergy issues, but I had no issues after being in there for over an hour. Thank you for the pile of albums!

Mi peor experiencia en una tienda de vinilos. Visite la tienda junto con una amiga, desde que entras la tienda se ve lúgubre y desorganizada. A mi no me molestó que hubiera demasiado de vinilos arrumbados, no tuve problema pero desde que llegamos el dueño estaba gritando por teléfono mientras veíamos la selección. Al terminar su llamada nos preguntó que estábamos buscando, que música nos gustaba, imaginé que solo quería hacer conversación, pero te quiere obligar a comprar, le dije que buscaba soundtracks de películas, y al preguntarle por dos, solo dos precios de artículos que claramente no tenían precio, porque la mayoría de la tienda no tiene, se tardó mucho es buscar el precio y al no tomarlo solo empezó a gritarme a mi y a mi amiga, que “cuánto queríamos pagar”, “cuál era un precio razonable”, “estoy harto de la gente que solo pregunta” gritaba de manera frustrada. Solo le dije a mi amiga que nos fuéramos porque seguía gritando y le dijimos que tuviera un buen día.
Fue un mal servicio, es verdad que está detrás de ti hasta que compres algo y los precios si son caros, el gato no me molesta pero encontré orines en el suelo y no había luz en la tienda.
Después el dueño salió a pedirnos una disculpa, sin embargo no hay justificación para gritarles a tus clientes, mucho menos si no te faltaron al respeto, recalcó que solo pregunté por dos ejemplares y empezó a gritar después de eso. Supongo que el dueño está enojado con la vida, si está leyendo esto, su lugar de trabajo refleja su estado mental. Tal vez se sentiría mejor si su tienda estuviera organizada como aquella foto de su periódico del 2018, vuelva a ser ese hombre feliz. El enojo no justifica una acción.
Realmente iba a volver por algunas cosas que me gustaron pero ya no creo hacerlo.
