I visited the store today (August 7) at around 11am, I was stood in front of the women’s clothing store and the lady working there very rudely asked us to leave as we were “blocking the window”. Personally, I think this is very unnecessary because I won’t be “blocking the window” for long and the pathway is narrow so obviously we would have to stand in front of the shops when discussing where to go next. She said that she pays for the window display, which I also found rude since this is a public pathway. As someone who has shopped from Vilbrequin before and possibly even entered the store if it wasn’t for her rudeness, I’m very disappointed in the customer service. She even called security on me, for standing in front of the sop for no more than five minutes… This experience left my mother very frustrated, so word of mouth will definitely veer customers away from this branch to avoid a negative experience. Was this all necessary?

After buying from them for 10 years, never ever again. Scammers. Defective items being sold and no refund/exchange offered. This is not luxury, this is a farce.

I purchased a pair of shorts for my husband as a Christmas gift. We were going on a dreamy holiday in Thailand - a perfect backdrop for pampering and fantastic experiences. During the holiday we noticed the shorts showed clear signs of discolouration, only after a few days of wear. I submitted a report to your Customer Support team upon my return, with included photos and descriptions. After an initial response it took them 11 days to tell me to return the shorts to a store for inspection. I did as asked and they promised to call me the next day. Upon keeping the shorts for a number of weeks I had to contact them to chase them for a resolution. I have been completely stonewalled, they are refusing to refund or exchange (either is fine for me, as I said, I am a fan and have dresses and my husband has other shorts etc) and want me to just shut up. They have made up an excuse that I must have used some sun screen, which is untrue. Furthermore for a product which is supposed to be used in conditions of sun, sea, and such conditions, blaming discolouration on a sun screen is ludicrous. But that’s a different topic. It is clearly a defective pair and it is now discontinued from production. It is a borderline scam. Finally upon chasing yet again, I got an answer with an excuse I gave them a wrong number. But.. they contacted me on WhatsApp! I finally have the shorts with me again. But no resolution to the issue. No apology. No refund. No exchange. Never ever ever again buying from these scammers.

4 months after purchasing the wrong Christmas gift for a family member, I finally got around to exchanging at the store in Burlington Arcade. NB I’d agreed this with Vilebrequin HQ in advance. Alessandro was incredibly welcoming and knew to expect us. Stefania was attentive and patient in helping us find an item for exchange. First class service, thank you.

Went to return an item which was bought recently, never worn, had the receipt and all tags. I had phoned ahead to ask and a man named Alex said it was fine to return it. They outright refused to refund me because I didn't have the "original payment card". Makes no sense because these details change whenever you get a new card anyway. Just sounded like an excuse to not refund me.

Superb customer service today at the Vilebrequin Burlington store. I had cause to go in with a query relating to a previous online order, and the store manager was incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Vilebrequin, this store and its staff are a credit to your brand - I'll definitely be back for next summer!

Poor quality shorts that do not last. Offered a 10% discount on a new pair, so they can take my money again.
